that La Huerta, FPGB’s school garden, is a four-season garden, growing veggies, herbs, and fruit all through the summer and the winter? We currently host workdays every Sunday from 10am to 12pm. No experience or knowledge is required to volunteer, and even coming out for one workday (2 hours) each month is incredibly helpful to meet our goal of having a beautiful, productive, educational garden for FPGB students, teachers and families. Spend a Sunday morning outside with your family, getting dirty, and then bring home some delicious, fresh produce! Produce harvested on the weekends is taken home by volunteers, given to FPGB staff, or used for sampling in the classroom.
